The legend of cable TV news, Bill O’Reilly, might have more plans up his sleeve than we have expected.
Bill O’Reilly, who for two decades was one of the top-rated hosts of Fox News’, was fired back in April after number of sexual harassment claims were made against him by women that were working for the same TV company. However, the accusations were never proven, as he defended himself as “Not guilty”, but still he left Fox News. Many conservatives were angry with the decision by Fox News to fire O’Reilly.
In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, he discovered that even though Fox News was far behind him, he might have new plans for getting back on TV.
Being asked about his possible return on the TV screens, he answered: “I haven’t decided. There are some interesting projects in development, as they say in Hollywood, but it has to be the right situation. I’m waiting to see very specific details of the projects that people have pitched to us. And there have been many. I think by early October, we should have a pretty good vision of what we’re going to do.”
Shortly after, he was being asked for his thoughts about Fox News. As usual, despite all the drama that had happened, he stayed as a true professional and answered: “Well, I’m not going to say anything bad about Fox News. I have 20 years, six months in there, and I think it would be untoward for me to say anything negative about Fox News. They’re still a very strong brand, and they still have great correspondents, and their presentation is very, very professional. But I’m a different agent. I do things differently, and that’s why we were very successful.”
The O’Reilly Factor, which was one of the best conservative news show on television, generated more than $446 million in advertising revenues for Fox News.
But, sounds like we won’t wait for too long before we see that legend back on TV.
