NEW: GOP Rep. Calls For Jill Biden To Face Criminal Charges

U.S. Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) suggested that former First Lady Jill Biden should face criminal charges for elder abuse in the wake of her husband’s shocking cancer diagnosis.

The former president’s office announced Sunday that Biden had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer. With a Gleason Score of nine, the former president’s cancer is more likely to spread and expand.

The diagnosis has sparked intense debate, as several urology experts have stated that prostate cancer should have been easy to detect given Biden’s routine checkups. Dr. David Shusterman, a board certified urological surgeon who teaches urology to up-and-coming physicians, speculated that Biden could have had cancer for several years.

Shusterman recalled his experience working in VA hospitals, stating that Biden’s diagnosis is consistent any patient who “hasn’t had medical attention in 10 years, presents to an emergency room with bone pain, and then they find that it’s metastatic prostate cancer.”

Rep. Miller, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, suggested Thursday that Jill Biden should face criminal charges in connection with the cover-up of her husband’s cognitive and physical decline while he was in office.

“Jill Biden was complicit in covering up Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline,” the congresswoman wrote in an X post. “She should face CRIMINAL CHARGES for elder abuse!!”

Several medical experts and political commentators have agreed with the congresswoman’s assessment in recent days. Elaine Healy, a geriatric medical specialist, argued that former President Joe Biden is showing “telltale signs of elder abuse” in an opinion piece with the New York Post earlier this week.

She named  Jill Biden, the former president’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and former Biden chief of staff Jeffrey Zients as possible perpetrators.

“Visible bruising and other injuries from physical violence are obvious forms of abuse. Non-violent actions — like deprivation of food, causing weight loss, or intimidation, causing social withdrawal and personality changes — are also defined as abusive behavior,” Healy wrote.

“A more sinister type of elder abuse, however, involves the exploitation of an elderly individual for the abuser’s financial, personal or — in this case — political gain.”

The doctor highlighted an infamous post-debate moment in which Jill Biden could be seen physically guiding her frail husband off the stage.

“What was behind her insistence that he run for office when she, above all others, had to be aware of his failing cognitive capacities and declining physical health?” Healy continued. “Is she a loving spouse or a master manipulator, using his dependency on her to control his decision-making? If the latter, she is engaged in elder abuse.”

Longtime Washington Post columnist and vehement Trump critic Sally Quinn offered a similar assessment of “Dr. Jill” and her role in the cover-up while reacting to former President Biden’s cancer diagnosis earlier this week.

“I blame Jill Biden for this. Jill Biden is his wife. And if Jill Biden had stood up and gone to him and said, ‘Joe, you can’t do it’… He wouldn’t have run,” Quinn said Wednesday on the “Tara Palmeri Show.”

“She clearly was in favor of his running and I just think it was a terrible disservice to the country.”

Quinn felt that the former president’s disastrous debate performance last June only “emboldened” Dr. Jill to double down on keeping him in the race. “She wasn’t protecting him… I thought it was elder abuse, really,” Quinn declared.
