Ilhan Omar Embroiled In New Scandal Over Response To Terror Attack

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) didn’t have much to say after a pro-Hamas terrorist shot and killed a Washington D.C. couple who worked at the Israeli embassy following a community gala in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A Fox News reporter caught up with the “Squad” Democrat and anti-Israel agitator outside the Capitol shortly after U.S. House members concluded business with passage of President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful” tax cut bill. Omar, a Muslim, had little to say about a killer who allegedly shouted “free, free Palestine” after gunning down a young man and his girlfriend just days before they were set to be engaged.

“Congresswoman Omar, can I get your reaction to the shooting that happened in D.C. last night?” the correspondent asks as Omar lowers her head and walks past.

“I’m going to go for now,” she replies without glancing in his direction.

“Fox & Friends” hosts were visibly mortified by the callous reaction to the antisemitic killings.

It’s the latest in a series of sick and twisted scandals around Omar, an unrepentant progressive who has sneered at pro-Israel lawmakers intent on cracking down on antisemitic activity around the country.

A Republican congressman launched a petition calling for Omar’s arrest and deportation after Somali community members came forward, appearing to confirm that she married her biological brother to keep him from being deported decades ago.

Shortly after Trump took office, she was raked over the coals for referring to the majority of Americans as “stupid” for electing him.

Tough questions have led to multiple testy encounters. She slammed the elevator doors in the face of a reporter who asked her why she refused to stand and honor a young boy at President Trump’s speech before Congress.

When another asked about the allegation she married her brother, Omar replied “f**k off” before walking away.

Yet while other progressives shun the spotlight at the request of establishment Democrats, Omar seems to feed off it. She got into a very personal online spat with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) amid rumors that President Trump was considering a federal pardon for Derek Chauvin, the former police officer imprisoned for the death of George Floyd.

The seemingly never-ending antics of Omar and fellow “Squad” members are a constant thorn in the side of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who was instrumental in convincing another member to drop his articles of impeachment against President Trump. Instead, he and allies said, Democrats need to keep their fire trained on cuts to Medicaid as part of Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill.

However, that line of attack didn’t seem to stick on Thursday morning as the House passed the bill in a dramatic 215-214 early-morning vote. The loss is sure to provoke more outbursts from Omar and her ilk as they continue to receive questions about their unprofessional behavior.
