‘It is Cheating’: Piers Hurls Truth Bomb, Blunt Question at Trans-Identifying Athlete During Heated Exchange

Television host Piers Morgan delivered sharp criticism of trans-identifying participation in women’s athletics during a Monday broadcast of “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

He directly challenged a trans-identifying male pickleball player in what became a contentious, must-see on-air confrontation.

The British broadcaster set his sights on the growing debate surrounding biological males competing in female sports categories.

Morgan’s latest target was Sara Weiss, a competitor who has drawn attention in pickleball circles.

Morgan confronted Sara Weiss, a semi-professional pickleball competitor who identifies as transgender, over competing in women’s divisions.

The discussion quickly escalated as Morgan pressed his central argument about competitive integrity.

His position centered on the fundamental biological differences between males and females that persist regardless of gender identity.

“It is cheating,” Morgan declared during the exchange.

“It is knowingly using a superior biology from birth to beat women who are born with female bodies.”

Weiss defended the participation, stating it posed “not a threat to gender women.”

Morgan refused to accept this justification and pressed further on the issue of competitive fairness.

“Why do you want to be a cheat? That’s what you’re doing. You’re cheating,” Morgan responded to Weiss during the heated discussion.

The confrontation drew intervention from pro-transgender activist Dr. Helen Webberley, who criticized Morgan’s comments as disrespectful.

Morgan refused to back down from his position despite the criticism, however.

“It cuts to the heart of the debate,” Morgan stated.

The television host argued that his direct approach was necessary to address what he sees as fundamental issues in the transgender sports debate.

Morgan then questioned Webberley’s medical credentials regarding the scientific aspects of the issue.

“The idea that you’re a doctor and don’t think this is about science is breathtaking to me,” Morgan told Webberley during the segment.

Morgan emphasized safety concerns for female athletes by citing documented cases of injury.

The television host referenced the case of Payton McNabb, whose injuries serve as a stark example of the physical dangers involved.

McNabb, a 19-year-old volleyball player, sustained severe and life-altering injuries including a brain bleed, traumatic brain injury, partial paralysis and vision loss after a male athlete spiked a ball into her head in April 2023.

McNabb’s case has become a rallying point for those who argue that allowing biological males to compete against females creates dangerous situations.

The host also mentioned swimmer Lia Thomas as an example of competitive imbalance that occurs when biological males compete in women’s categories.

Thomas’s case has become one of the most high-profile examples in the transgender sports debate.

In related news, Resist the Mainstream reported earlier this week on a brewing firestorm in international sports where newly surfaced lab results reportedly confirm that Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif is biologically male.

This revelation could upend his gold medal victory at the Paris Games and bar him from future women’s competitions.

The controversy reignited this week after World Boxing issued a formal letter to the Algerian Boxing Federation stating that Khelif is now banned from competing in female categories unless he undergoes genetic sex screening.
